Grace
Imposes divine standards based on God’s holiness for the purpose of revealing to man his sinfulness and making him aware of his need for divine assistance. Imparts divine life based on God’s benevolence for the purpose of making man a partaker of the divine nature and enabling the plan of God to be fulfilled through him
Given by Moses (John 1:17) Grace and truth came by Jesus (John 1:17)
Prohibits (keeps) us from coming to God (Ex. 19:10-25, Heb. 12:18-24) Bids (invites) us to come as we are (John 6:37, Matt. 11:28-30)
